When, in the Bull on one Sunday afternoon in October 2004, Ian volunteered to produce a wildlife article for the village website his idea was welcomed by the website committee.

'Country Eye Autumn 2004' was published the following month.

Since then Country Eye has become large enough to be it's own website, so in August 2008 www.CountryEye.org.uk was launched.

Sadly the Rippingale Parish Council closed the Rippingale Village Website in 2018, and access to a wealth of local news and history, both recent and past, had been lost. There is however now an archive of the website pre 2018 - click here to visit.
