When, in the Bull on one Sunday afternoon in October 2004, Ian volunteered to produce a wildlife article for the village website his idea was welcomed by the website committee.

'Country Eye Autumn 2004' was published the following month.

Since then Country Eye has become large enough to be it's own website, so in August 2008 www.CountryEye.org.uk was launched.

Sadly the Rippingale Parish Council closed the Rippingale Village Website in 2018, and access to a wealth of local news and history, both recent and past, has been lost.

Country Eye is currently maintained and managed by John Warman - April 2019
